What the Sizes Mean
PodBelt size indicates the length of the belt in inches from the inside edge of the buckle to the center of the third (middle) hole from the other end-- basically the size of the belt should exactly coorrelate to your measure around, in inches, where you want to wear the belt, assuming you will buckle it in the middle hole.

Determining Your Proper PodBelt Size
It all depends how you wear the belt, with what clothes, etc. To get an accurate measure, follow these instructions:

  1. Put on a favorite or often worn pair of pants
  2. Take a soft tape measure and wrap it around your hips about an inch or two below the waistband of the pants, about where you might wear a fanny pack. If you don't have a proper tape measure, use a string and mark it.
  3. Take this measure, it is roughly your podbelt size. If using a string, use a ruler to measure to the mark.

Flexibility
To be certain your podbelt will work with your whole wardrobe, you could try the measure test above with several different outfits. You have 2 extra holes on each side of the middle (measure) hole of the belt, thereby giving you about 2" leeway in either direction to help accomodate for variations in thickness and cut of different clothes. So your best best is to take an average from your tightest, thinnest, highest cut clothing to your loosest, thickest, lowest cut clothing.
